Satellite Opiate Addiction Services
If you are looking to change your relationship with heroin or other opiates, the Satellite may be a place that can help you.
The Satellite is a comprehensive program using both medical and non-medical interventions. Our team believes that clients are best served in a friendly, compassionate and mutually respectful environment.
We offer:
- a comprehensive program working from a harm reduction philosophy
- medical services including: Methadone, LAAM, Buprenorphine treatments, nursing care, physician appointments and on-site drug screening
- one-on-one, couple, group and family counselling
- intake, assessment, health education, resources and referral
- on-site pharmacy and dispensing
- facilitated drop-in centre including recreation, food programs, computer access, art and daily opportunites for mutual support
- yoga, meditation and acupuncture
- open 5 days a week.
- case management and advocacy with housing, employment, and social assistance.
